Abstract One of the ways for construction sector to contribute sustainability is reuse and recycle huge amount demolition waste (CDW) it generates. Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) recognized by EN 206 standard as a legitimate ingredient, but their full potential far be used, because several reasons: availability natural resources, heterogeneity CDW, technology costs issues mistrust in performances. In Bulgaria, addition, national amendment very restrictive lack know-how. This study aims fill gap assess impact RCA on performance. from three different CDW sources tested. differs porosity, water absorption mechanical characteristics. The performance recycled with 30% 50% replacement coarse compared that concrete.
